After a long break, safety skills can get rusty. If time away from climbing has made you unsure of your belaying or knot skills fear not! The lovely people at The Reach have a cheap and thorough solution for you. For just £15 – including entry, you can have your top roping skills refreshed and polished by a qualified instructor. We think that’s a bargain – as adult entry to The Reach is currently £9 before 4pm, or 11 after 4pm. This effectively means you get expertly retrained from just £4!

It must be pointed out that this option is for climbers who have previously had top rope training – such as the basic skills course at The Reach. It ISN’T an alternative to a full introductory course.

Remember, the only requirements for ICAS Indoor are safe belay and knot skills, however these are ESSENTIAL skills to all members who participate in our climbing meet-ups.
